Celebrating ONE YEAR of awesomeness and GRACE!

Almost cannot believe it's been a year already. Looking back, we really have no complaints but tons of thanksgiving! It has been such an adventurous year - we travelled to 6 different places, Joyce finished her thesis, Joe had a surgery (and almost died!), changed jobs and positions, got sick too many times, etc, etc. In the midst of all that chaos, our Father remains unchanged and for that we are so so grateful.

Thank you ALL for being a part of our lives. For those of you who celebrated with us last year today (or in Vancouver or Indiana!), thank you for being there! We love you all and cannot wait till the next time we meet. 

Emerge - Youth Conference 2012

Emerge - Youth Campference, April 14-15, 2012, Beijing, China

Joe and I are so privileged to be a part of this conference. 230 youth (mostly from our city but 30 or so from other parts of the country) and 30 leaders worshipping G together and best yet, seeing him change lives. So many of our youth repented, took the leap of faith and came to JC, pledged their obedience to him, and left the campference changed. Changed! We need to see more of this in the world. Friends, don't be afraid anymore, let us emerge into who Father has created us to be and walk in all of his glory!

Call it whatever you want: Scaring the general public 2012 or if you prefer the more fancy version, Emerge Freeze Drop! This is the sequel to our youth Campference (Camp+Conference, will blog about that later) back in April. The youth created such a great bond with each other over those three days they decided to get together again to wow the public. Thank G there we weren't arrested by pol-ce that day! It was awesome. Simply legendary.
